Desperate Housewives
Ooooh how I love this show! They usually always have such good plots and I am always dying for the next episode. Definitely keeps my interest. Next season twist? The show shoots 5 years into the future!

Real World: HOLLYWOOD!

Amazing Race

Southern California!!!

Ok, so this is about 2 weeks late but what the heck. 2 weeks ago I went to Southern California.

At the beginning we went to Knotts Berry Farm. It was alot funner than I expected. I went on Roller Coasters and had alot of fun. That night we went to Downtown Disney and had dinner at ESPN Zone with a Dodgers fan, I mean um, my parents old friends the Nielsens and their daughter Tahnee. After dinner we watched some fireworks and then went back to our hotel.

The next morning we went to DISNEYLAND! It was really fun especially because I got to spend the day in Disneyland with Lauren and Skyler, definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Here are some pictures from inside the park:

My dad, Scotty and me in New Orleans square.

Scotty, Skyler and Lauren after Grizzly River Rapids. I envied them being soaked in water in 95 degree weather. I think I got maybe 5 drops. Hmph. :(

Dad, Scotty, Skyler, Lauren and Me inside California Adventure.

The next morning we woke up and it was time to go to Newport Beach! It had to have been Skylers highlight of the trip seeing as he squealed for 20 minutes about how excited he was to be there.

Lauren, Skyler, Scotty, Dad, and me.

Told you Skyler was excited!

Im sure this is the first thing he talked about back in Idaho when his roomates asked about the trip, sure of it.

Now after Newport, it was time to see Los Angeles and Hollywood! Ok, so who can guess the VERY FIRST thing we did in Hollywood?
2 clues:
Lauren was with us.
We were by the Walk of Fame stars.

Ok, that was easy, so if you missed it you are:
A. A stranger
or
B. Really really out of it
or
C, actually no C, there is no excuse for not knowing!

So anyways, we walked around Hollywood, looked at stars, watched street performers, went to Chinese Theatre, ate and then we filed to the car to take Lauren and Skyler to the Airport (NO!!!).

But wait, wait, wait, WAIT! I forgot about my moms highlight, LA INK!!! From the moment my mom walked in to the second she left I swear I thought she was gonna faint!

After LA Ink we took Lauren and Skyler to the Airport and headed down to San Diego to visit our close family friends, the Hazens. We spent the night at their house and then went to the beach the beach the next day. I love their kids so it was super fun. And I loved all the attention from cute little Payton. LOVE HER!

Payton, my Dad, and I looking for sand crabs.

This was taken after I got home but its such a nice picture of my Mom and Payton I just had to include it!

Ok, well that was my vacation, hope you enjoyed reading about it. :) Leave me a comment!

A Story.

I guess this is turning into a story/writting blog? I dunno :|

From behind a door in a dark alleyway a man emerged, muttering words too quiet to make out. His footsteps were loud in the silence of the night as he made his way through. Each step sounded like a gunshot to the man, suddenly the man stopped walking, for he was startled by a noise. The man was afraid that he was not alone; someone was there. “You're alone, no one is around” the man assured himself as he started to move again, as he approached a turn in the alley he slowly crept around, he saw a light at the end he sighed and continued to walk.

He peered out among the streets. Good old London. It was a stormy night, probably around 11 PM. Rain poured onto his head as he ran across the cobblestone street. The man now was walking down what was probably Main Street and he turned to a local pub. He turned to watch the door close behind him and swore he heard the same sound from earlier, a low cackle of a man. He shook off the feeling as he walked over to a stool and ordered himself a pint of beer. Around the mans third drink a familiar face entered the pub and sat next to him.

“Good Evening Todd” the familiar face spoke softly.

“Well, hello Rodrick its great to see you, what brings you into a pub this late?” the man, now Todd replied.

“Well actually I didn’t exactly intend to come to a pub. I was actually out looking for somewhere to get Melissa something, tomorrows our anniversary. I heard a strange laugh, so I decided it’d be best to stop by here; shake it off you know?”

“Mhm. That’s interesting that’s the same reason I came by the pub. Well, I wasn’t looking for something for Melissa, but,” the two men chuckled “I was just leaving a meeting…” Todd was cut off by Rodrick

“For what?” Rodrick inquired.

“Oh, nothing, that’s not the point. So like I was saying, I was just leaving the meeting…” Todd was again cut off.

“For what?” Rodrick was persistent.

“For heavens sake Rodrick, that is not the point! So again, as I was leaving my meeting, WHICH HAS NO RELEVANCE TO MY STORY, I heard an odd chuckling also, I first was afraid, but as I walked I assured myself it was nothing. When I reached the end of the alleyway I entered the streets and heard the sound again and headed over to here and that’s why I’m here.” Todd finished his story.

“Ok, nice story and all, but why are you avoiding my question? What was the meeting about?”

“Oh by golly it’s so late I better get heading home!” Todd avoided the question and walked towards the door. Rodrick grabbed at Todd’s coat and pulled him back to the stool.

“Tell me what the meeting was about Todd, I will not let you go until I have an answer, or if you prefer, you can take me to this place where the meeting was held.” Rodrick finished his demands and looked into Todd’s eyes with a burning intensity. Todd wondered why Rodrick was so persistent to go to the meeting, but he knew there was no way to get Rodrick to give up. He would have to show Rodrick and then the Boss could deal with him (and Todd didn’t care what that would be by now his frustration was leaning towards Rodrick’s death).

“Fine, follow me.” Todd grabbed his coat and ushered Rodrick towards the door. The cold wind brushed Todd’s hair across his face as he dashed with Rodrick across the road to the alleyway. Once they reached the alley Rodrick inquired, “So where are we going?”

“Oh don’t worry, you’ll see.” Todd snickered in his mind at how the boss would react.

“No, YOU’LL see.” Rodrick choked out.

Todd stopped dead in his tracks. “Excuse me? What did you say?”

“Oh nothing, sorry.” They had reached the door.

“Whatever Rodrick.” Todd said as he grabbed for the doors handle.

“WHO IS IT!!!!” the Boss’s loud voice bellowed.

“It’s just me Boss this fellow here...”

“GOT HIM!!!” Rodrick screamed as he threw Todd to the floor.

“What’s going on here?????” Todd screamed out in astonishment.

“You, Todd were the next hit. You” The Boss answered as two bullets pierced into Todd’s skin, silencing him forever. “Nice work Rodrick,” the Boss said as he handed Rodrick a bundle of money, “very nice”

Rachel

“What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.” This quote by Percales describes the influence my sister Rachel has had on my life. My sister Rachel is 24 and hasn’t really changed my life but has helped form my outlook on life and I hope to instill what she has taught me into other peoples’ lives as I grow older.

Rachel has a precious smile that can illuminate any room and melt the hearts of anyone present. Rachel loves music and is always happy when music is playing. Another thing she loves is ‘Wheel of Fortune’; whenever she hears the music start she will run from anywhere in the house and plop on “her” spot on the couch. Rachel is shorter than the average 24 year old, with beautiful dark hair and dark eyes. She wears typical clothes for someone her age, but her tummy always seems to be sticking out of the bottom of her shirts. If you ever catch Rachel after 8:00 PM, she will be seen in her one piece light purple frog “footy” pajamas… on backwards. Why are they on backwards you might ask? So she can’t unzip them! My sister Rachel is severely handicapped and unzipping her clothes is a skill she has mastered!

I am 11 years younger than Rachel, and I have never known a life without her. When I came home from the hospital my family had to protect me from her, not because she was mean, but because she was curious and tried to pat me just a little too hard. She would always poke her fingers up my nose and into my eyes, and occasionally gave me those big sloppy open mouthed kisses. I have never been able to have a conversation with Rachel or do those things you do with sisters. Even so, she is still just as special to me as my other siblings; maybe a little more because of how she has influenced my life.

The life lessons I have learned from my sister are many. Among them are compassion, patience, acceptance, gratitude, and the need to have a good sense of humor!
I have learned to find excitement and joy in even the smallest accomplishments she has.
Because of Rachel I can look around at the rest of the world and realize the value of differences. I don’t run away from people who are different, I try to talk to them, help them and try to make them feel as though I am their friend. Rachel has taught me to be grateful for what I have; my hands work, I can run and play, I can make decisions for myself. All these things I have learned from my sister who has never said a word.

Rachel inspires people; everyone who knows her loves her. My older sister is helping me be a better person and I will be a better Dad and teacher some day because of what she has taught me. I have learned you don’t have to be “normal” to be great. You don’t have to be “smart” to teach people. You don’t have to be “powerful” to have influence over people. For me, to have her smile and throw her arm around my neck and give me sloppy kisses helps me to love her more. When you love someone you learn from them. That’s how Rachel has influenced my life. I hope that I someday I can teach others just some of the many things I have learned from Rachie. I guess Rachel is like a weaver, she has added dimension and color to my life and I am really happy about it.

A Mysterious Package...

So today I get home from school and run up to the computer as usual when my dad calls up to me telling me I got a package, I was immediately thrilled, and I was anxious to see what it was. As soon as I saw the name on the package I knew exactly what it was, a package for being her FAVORITE reader (haha) ok.... maybe it was for my pity comment.....
It was from Erin Scarborough addressed to Jeffrey AARON Groseclose (my parents say my middle name is from Erin and my first name is from her dad, so supposedly, I am half-olsen). I have known Erin for a long time, she used to babysit me all the time and even watched Scotty and I for a week while my parents went on a cruise (COMPLETELY ditching their children!!!).
So when I got the package I ran to the computer and grabbed the camera (perfect blogging opportunity!) and began to tear it open, and out falls plenty of goodies.
Sour Patch Kids, Bubble Tape (with a message saying "I haven't seen this years, so I had to get it!") a BIG bag of Reeses Pieces and a card. Believe it or not I reached straight for the card, my hand dodging the diabetes, I MEAN CANDY... When I opened it I saw a nice letter from Erin, I loved it! SO...... thanks so much Erin I really appreciate it, it means alot.

P.S I hope you dont think I ignored the candy with my diabetes comment, cause I for sure didnt! Here is some proof.

Mmmm, thanks for the candy Erin

P.S.S Because I have braces I can only eat sugar free gum, but dont worry I will not throw away that gum Erin, Ill put it in a very special place, and once I can eat it, it'll get its very own post. :]

P.S.S.S (does it go this long?) The gift cards on the packages are there to cover the addresses incase you were wondering, but, do you notice the underlined Aaron? I told you so ;]!
